Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the VibeScan app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
2. Free, ad-supported app
The App is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the App you acknowledge that it displays ads, and that ad and analytics services process limited data as described in our Privacy Policy. There is no subscription and no account is required.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents, images, and other content you create or process with the App (“Your Content”). Your Content is stored on your device; we do not access, host, or claim any rights to it. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own backups.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to scan, store, or process content you do not have the right to, or in violation of any law or third-party rights.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to defeat the App’s security, advertising, or consent mechanisms.
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
5. Feature accuracy (OCR & AI)
Text recognition (OCR), automatic classification, summaries, and question-answering are provided on a best-effort basis and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on these features for decisions that require verified accuracy (for example, legal, financial, medical, or official purposes) without independently checking the results.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by TU LUU and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
7. Third-party services
The App uses third-party services including Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and Firebase Analytics. Your use of the App through the App Store is also subject to Apple’s terms. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their services.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any scan, OCR, or export result will meet your requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, documents, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because your documents are stored on your device, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any feature, at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 3, 6, 8, 9, and 11) will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. In all cases, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
